Wayback Wednesdays - Week 42 & Blog Hop

We have welcomed in a brand new year and now we welcome back Wayback Wednesdays!  We go back to 2002.  What was in the headlines?

Two snipers in Washington DC kill  10 people and injures 3 spreading panic and fear throughout the area.  George Bush created the department of Homeland Security to fight terrorism.  The Winter Olympics were held in Salt Lake City.  These were ones that are most prominent in my memory.  The most important memory I have from that year, is this is the year I met and started dating hubby:)

The #1 song for that year is How You Remind Me by Nickelback.

Now let's have some hopping fun! There are no rules except have fun! If you are a new follower leave me a comment so I can follow you back. Link up to your blog, facebook or twitter and if you decide to do your own Wayback post link to that so I can check it out:) Don't forget to check out my co-host Cathy Kennedy for her Wayback post too!
